The Merion Station Townhouse (MSTA) Board of Directors plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of life in our neighborhood. We’re responsible for the overall management and governance of our community. We are dedicated to serving the Merion Station community with integrity, transparency, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of all residents.

We Need Your Vote
Voting for Merion Station Townhouse (MSTA) Association Board members has been scheduled for July 10, 2024, at Kahler Hall meeting room. Proxy ballots are being mailed out and the cutoff date for submitting the ballots by Homeowners is July 1, 2024.
Your vote will help us ad new members to our Board of Directors. The available positions are, MSTA President, Vice President, Secretary and Member at Large.

Carol has a passion for creating a welcoming community. She is dedicated to ensuring the residents of Merion Station Townhome Association have a positive living experience.

Lydia takes pride in keeping the community well-maintained and ensuring that residents’ needs are promptly addressed.
Treasure
Carol Hutchison
Carol plays a vital role in managing the financial health of the community. She oversees the collection of annual fees, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing regular financial reports.
Member At-Large
Warren Copeland
This role involves participating in board meetings, contributing to discussions and decision-making processes, and providing input on various matters affecting the association.
Member At-Large
Evelyn Griffin
This role helps with special projects, supports the implementation of board decisions and addressing a wide range of issues and concerns brought forth by residents.

Recordation of minutes of all HOA meetings and giving all the notices.
MSTA Board of Directors Duties Responsibilities
President
The association president’s role is dictated by the association’s governing documents. The Declaration of Covenants and the by-laws and those laws from the Harper’s Choice community association; keeping up to date on new State laws pertaining to HOA’s.
Vice President
- Supports the President; acts as a participant in a quorum for any decisions or matters the board must make.
- Being a Board member is a volunteer position and is expect4ed to attend as many meetings as possible.
- Steps in the shoes of the president when the president is unable to act.
Treasurer
- Maintain corporate operating check register (Wells Fargo Business Checking Account) and Savings Account.
- a. Execute financial disbursements (checks) on behalf of MSTA
- b. Deposit financial receivables (deposits) for MSTA
- c. Reconcile corporate operating check register
- Maintain corporate reserve register (Wells Fargo Reserve Account)
- a. Execute financial disbursements (checks) on behalf of MSTA
- b. Deposit financial receivables (deposits) for MSTA
- c. Reconcile corporate reserve check register
- Maintain corporate electronic financial records reflecting disbursements and receivables to operating and reserve accounts
- Maintain Accounts Receivable documentation – for each receivable preserve.
- a. Copy of financial instrument (e.g., check, receipt, etc.)
- b. Copy of originating document (e.g., statement, invoice, etc.)
- c. Incidental accompanying documentation (e.g., resident comments), receipts
- Maintain Accounts Payable documentation – for each payable preserve.
- a. Copy of originating payable document (e.g., invoice, vendor statement, etc.)
- Report corporate financial status/changes to MSTA Board of Directors
Member At-Large
- Supports the President; acts as a participant in a quorum for any decisions or matters the board must make.
- Being a Board member is a volunteer position and expected to attend as many meetings as possible.
Secretary
